The Curious Owl is more than just a craft studio — it’s a place where everyone is welcome to slow down, try something new, and rediscover the joy of being creative.#
I believe creativity isn’t about being “good at art” — it’s about expression, confidence, laughter, and letting go of perfection.
That’s why every workshop, party, and event is designed to be fun, inclusive, and pressure-free.

Hi, I’m Emma 👋 — founder of The Curious Owl, mum of two, and lifelong lover of all things creative.
I’ve always seen how creativity can lift people up — it builds confidence, reduces stress, and helps us feel more like our authentic selves.
But I also know that traditional art spaces can sometimes feel intimidating. Even as someone who loves crafting, I’ve walked into studios where I didn’t feel I belonged.
That’s why I created The Curious Owl: a warm, welcoming space where everyone can have a go, laugh along the way, and leave with something they’re proud of.

To make creativity accessible to everyone — whether you’re picking up a paintbrush for the first time, planning a party for your kids, or looking for a mindful escape from the daily grind.
To grow The Curious Owl into a creative community known across the UK for joy, inclusivity, and fun. A place where anyone, anywhere, can feel safe to try something new.
Inclusivity – Whoever you are, you’re welcome here.
Fun First – Laughter and joy are at the heart of everything we do.
Wellbeing – Creativity is a powerful tool for confidence and calm.
Community – We lift each other up and celebrate every creation.

Whether you’re booking a party, dropping into a workshop, or just curious to see what we’re about — we’d love to welcome you. Come as you are, leave with a smile (and maybe some paint on your hands).
