The Community Table at The Curious Owl is all about bringing people together through creativity.
Sometimes you want to get out of the house, meet new people, or spend time with others who understand your experiences — but doing that can feel a little daunting.
Our Community Tables offer a relaxed way to connect. You can sit down, get creative with Pick n Paint, have a chat, and simply enjoy being around others.
No artistic experience is needed — just come as you are.

Open to everyone
If you’d like to try Pick n Paint but don’t want to come on your own, our Curious Owl Community Table is the perfect place to start.
This is a friendly, informal table hosted by us where anyone can come along, join the group and enjoy creating together. We’ll be there to welcome you, chat, and help everyone feel comfortable.
Some people come on their own, some come with friends — either way you’ll find a warm, relaxed atmosphere where conversation flows as easily as the paint.
When:
Friday & Saturday – 11:00am
How it works:
Book a seat at the Community Table and choose what you’d like to paint when you arrive. Simply book the normal 11am Pick n Paint session on our booking form, and we will be waiting to welcome you.

Creativity and connection for your community
We also host Community Tables run by charities, support groups and organisations who want to bring their members together in a relaxed creative space.
These sessions give communities the opportunity to connect, chat and support one another while enjoying a creative activity.
Guests still book their place and choose what they would like to paint just like our regular Pick n Paint sessions, unless otherwise stated (for example, if the organisation is contributing towards the cost).
Examples of groups who might host a Community Table include:
• Support organisations
• Charities
• Peer support groups
• Community interest groups
• Local networks or societies
Each table has its own host and its own welcoming atmosphere, but the same relaxed Curious Owl experience.
