Give your child the chance to explore their imagination, learn new art skills, and take home projects they’ll be proud of.

Each term brings a brand-new theme packed with exciting techniques and materials — all taught in a calm, supportive environment.

With small groups, friendly tutors, and plenty of encouragement, this is the perfect way for kids to let their creativity take flight.

✨ How It Works

📅 Mondays during term time

⏰ Ages 7–10 → 5:00–6:15pm

⏰ Ages 11–14 → 6:45–8:00pm

📍 The Studio at 12a Manor Street, Hull, HU1 1YU

💷 £90 per 6-week block (includes all materials, squash & biscuits)

🎨 Maximum 12 children per group for plenty of support

Each block is booked as a full term to help kids build confidence, develop skills, and finish complete creative projects.

🌟 2026 Term Themes

Term 1: Making, Moulding & Modelling

📅 12th Jan – 16th Feb (5 weeks)

Dive into the world of 3D art!

Children will explore clay, celluclay and papier-mâché to create animal-inspired projects. They’ll make a clay fish, a celluclay animal portrait, and finish with a papier-mâché wall hanging (ages 7–10) or sculpture (ages 11–14).


👉 A fun, hands-on block perfect for developing making skills.

Term 2: Dream Worlds

📅 23rd Feb – 23rd Mar (5 weeks)

Imagination takes centre stage! Children will design and build their own fantasy world, complete with characters and landscapes.

Using modelling clay, spray foam, textiles, paint, and more, they’ll create a masterpiece that’s totally unique.


👉 Perfect for sparking storytelling and creative problem-solving.

Term 3: Inspired by Me

📅 1st June – 6th July (6 weeks)

This block celebrates individuality and self-expression.

Children will create abstract self-portraits, make clay people pots, and explore different art techniques to grow their confidence and skills. The term ends with a mini showcase so parents can see their creations.

👩‍👧 Parent Information

  • Children should wear old clothes or an apron — we may get messy!

  • Please drop off no earlier than 5 minutes before the session.

  • Collection must be prompt at the end of the session.

  • A registration form (via our booking system) collects emergency contact details, medical info, and permissions.

Does my child need experience?

Not at all! Our sessions are designed for all ability levels.

What if my child misses a session?

Unfortunately we can’t offer refunds for missed sessions, but they’ll pick up where they left off the following week.

What should they bring?

Nothing but enthusiasm! All materials and refreshments are provided.

Can I stay with my child?

These are drop-off sessions to help children gain independence. Parents are welcome back for a quick look at the end-of-term showcase.
